About Kaş
Kas can hardly be expressed by words!
The picturesque harbor town of Kaş lays on the historical Lycian coast, which runs from Antalya to Fethiye, the most beautiful section of Turkey's southern coast. The Lycians, one of the oldest Anatolian civilizations, as well as other early civilizations, have left their mark, such as the Hellenistic Amphitheater, rock tombs, sarcophagi and the remnants of the old city wall.
In the village itself there are tea gardens under palm trees, cozy restaurants with local specialties and bars. Kaş has been spared from excessive tourism. The picturesque town of Kaş (about 7000 inhabitants), with its romantic harbor, is surrounded by green mountains at the foot of the Taurus Mountains.
Despite its excellent tourist infrastructure, Kaş retains its unique charm and is enchanted by its picturesque townscape and the scenic surroundings
